Historical Major Changes from Previous Iterations of the Site

10/07/06 -
Finally uploaded to server all changes since 08/05/25, making this site upgrade over two years in the making. Probably about time to do it again, hehe, J/K.
10/04/24 -
Finished converting Poland journal pages to XML/XSLT.
08/07/29 -
Converted News page to tableless CSS
08/01/04 -
Updated some of the code to take advantage of code savings from CSS.
Looking around, I realize I need to do a major site redesign eventually and make all the attributes that can be done in CSS CSS-based. There is much room in my site for improvement.
06/12/09 -

04/07/07 -
Began adding "Related pages:" links to each page, progressing alphabetically. I don't plan to include Whitespace areas in this modification, except as link recipients. (got to e today)

03/03/05 -
I didn't wait until the weekend... Following are the details of my site re-design:
I took down the text-only index.
I restructured the navigation of the site and made three new pages for navigating the four major site areas.
I updated my web design philosophy on the index.
I added links for the major areas to the NavBox.
I changed the colors of text and links and things.
I changed the color scheme on all "Tree-lined" pages.
I moved links on the index from within paragraphs to following paragraphs.
I started a By Date Started list of files. I'll include it in the navigation scheme at a later date...maybe.
03/01/30 -
I made a major site update today. It affected 66 HTML files, including this one. I have removed every GIF file from my Web site, and I am replacing them with PNG (Portable Network Graphic) files. The upshot is that I finally have all my files in lowercase, as they should be. The downside is that I had to change each filename manually, individually (not all 66. Many files I had already changed (but I had to do it manually when I did that)).
I have also had to, of course, replace each GIF file individually.
I used a JPG for my copyright image, because it must be viewable by everyone.
I made some major and minor changes to the index page:
Removed (sadly) my "compliance" image. My site isn't as compliant as it once was. Oh, well. Function beats compliance in my book.
Added a few paragraphs explaining this GIF=>PNG thing.
Added a link from the NavBox to the Webrings box
02/05/08 -
Moved to new address
02/01/05 -
Started News Page
Changed color scheme and title of site
